Untitled

this great admiration
leaves my head dwindling
in the dissipating essence
of unrequited fingertips

i adore everything
that is
everything that
is not
everything that
was
will be
him

creating maybe more than thin air
squinting my eyes to see
shapes in my head

all the time
knowing

my fingers

cry out

numb....

Poem One

paralyzed
distraught
conjured up memories
my broken heart
forgot

so numb with pain
so afraid
of the blood
within my vein

shallow tears
deep remorse

destiny
has run off
it's course

Poem Two

confused by the immensity
of it all
building myself up
for a great fall

stumbling, flailing
engulfed by the past

creating a future not meant
to last

Poem Three

sailing full throttle
into the abyss
no going back ashore
for things
are amiss

things are amiss
cannot be erased
by a word
or by a kiss

held captive
by faults
held aloft
by thoughts

doomed to drift
without a sound
and consequentially
i
will
drown
