this is based on a true story... let it take you on a journey through despair
An infant lay crying in a distant room, Its panicked shrieks, alarming. The nurse entered with pill in hand. The baby looked to her, begging for solace. She leaned over the child to feed it. Take this, let it soothe you. Now, rest. She watched the boy, advertising comfort. Without warning, his body went rigid! His eyes shut tight! He screamed in angiush! He writhed and contorted in agonizing spasms! The nurse, Mary by name, only smiled, Just a little longer, sweet child, then it'll be over. He lay curling, tossing, thrashing in pain! And by the drawing of the third hour, He'd crumpled to a pathetic statue of misery. She looked at him, her nephew, Knowing he'd not be the last.
